Blood Moon With Spica
Blood Moon, with Spica, the brightest star in the constellation Virgo, to the right. It was mostly hazy last night during the total lunar eclipse, but there were brief moments when the sky cleared up just enough to take a few photos. This shot was taken at 12:44 am with a Canon 5D Mark III, EF 300mm f/2.8 IS with a 2x teleconverter (600mm) at f/5.6, 0.6 secs, ISO 3200.
