Moon Shot
It's been a while since I've shot an astrophotography photo of the moon. I find it best to photograph a waxing or waning moon when the surface geology is more visible. I used my 300mm f/2.8 IS lens + 2x extender to see Venus in the early evening sky, but there wasn't much to photograph with that set up as far as Venus was concerned (just a very bright light in the sky). So instead, I photographed the moon. I need to get a telescope one of these days!
