The waxing crescent moon was at around 34% of full Sunday evening on November 22, 2009. Venus was also in the night sky just to the left of the moon. Photos were taken with a Canon EOS 40D, 300mm f/2.8 IS lens, 2x Extender, mirror lockup enabled, on a Bogen Manfrotto 055MF4 tripod and a Kirk BH-3 ballhead.
