Blood Moon With Spica
And finally... the Blood Moon! Spica, the brightest star in the constellation Virgo, is on the right. It was a hazy night, but there were a few brief moments when the sky cleared up just enough to take a few photos. This shot was taken at 12:44 am with a Canon 5D Mark III, EF 300mm f/2.8 IS with a 2x teleconverter (600mm) at f/5.6, 0.6 secs, ISO 3200.
