Today I came across a wooden post where someone used nails to write "Mission Peak 2517 FT" at the summit. All photos taken with a Canon Powershot G11.

This is technically not a very good photo due to lens flare caused by shooting directly into the sun, but I do like the effect of the magenta-tinged flare. The G11 has a six-bladed diaphragm and shoots six-pointed sun stars.
