Went to Mission Peak on a pleasant May afternoon to do a little hiking, a little running, and a lot of photography. ;-) The best time to photograph a full moon is actually the day before it becomes full because the moon rises above the horizon just before the sun sets. With the moon rising and the sun setting you can frame the moon with some nice foreground scenery.
