Muir Woods and The Caprice
My sister Debbie gave Shalimar a gift certificate to The Caprice in Tiburon this past Christmas. She probably didn't realize that it was a bit of a drive for a normal night out to dinner, so Shalimar planned a mini day trip for us to Muir Woods beforehand. Neither of us had been to Muir Woods before and it certainly won't be our last! It is such a beautiful place.

Bohemian Grove Trail
We started our hike at Bridge 1 and then onto Bohemian Grove Trail. We were quickly greeted by this cluster of redwoods which were probably a result of burl sprouting where trees reproduce from dormant buds at the base of the trees..
