Shalimar and I went to Frances, which is located in San Francisco's Castro District. I had gotten Shalimar a gift certificate to Frances as one of her Christmas gifts last year. We shared the Roasted Autumn Squash and Charred Eggplant & Smoked Fennel Dip, Tagliatelle, and the Tuscan Kale Salad. Shalimar had the Grilled Five-Dot Bavette Steak and I had the Pan Roasted Black Cod for our entrees. We also shared a side of Cauliflower "Panzanella". The food was delicious!
