Shalimar's first restaurant pick of 2014 was Oak & Rye - a family-owned pizza restaurant in Los Gatos. The staff was amused that Shalimar and I ordered three pizzas and two appetizers, for the two of us. They "liked our style", said one of the chefs. We had a Young Cheezy with pork sausage; a Truffle Shuffle with mozzarella, gruyere, mushroom, green onion, truffle oil, and cornichon; and a TMNT with salametto piccante. Delicious!
