Shalimar's 36th Birthday at Farallon Restaurant
For Shalimar's 36th birthday, I took her to Farallon Restaurant located in San Francisco's Union Square. Farallon was designed by restaurant designer Pat Kuleto who also designed Jardiniere where Shalimar took me for my birthday. Farallon's decor resembles an underwater habitat with hanging jellyfish for lighting and starfish on the walls. Farallon features a daily menu. Shalimar had the Confit of Liberty Farms Duck and I had the Cast Iron Roasted Maryland Striped Bass. Both were delicious! Happy Birthday Shalimar!

Our table was located on the second floor of the restaurant. With the kitchen on the ground floor, the waiters and waitresses have to go up and down the stairs all night long to deliver the meals. They must have been completely exhausted by the end of the day!
